🃏 Card packs, Draft battles with friends, emote hotkeys
Hey Captains! A busy week of small things since the last post, and a few you asked for.
🃏 Card packs are in the shop Open Sun and Moon packs to collect cards. Duplicates are kept, so you never lose a card you pull twice, and your collection now shows the cards you own first. (If you were already playing, two free packs, one Sun and one Moon, are waiting for you as a launch gift.)
🤝 Friend battles got better
- Draft battles with a friend. Pick ships from one shared pool (Normal (Short) battles, once you've unlocked Draft Mode). Invites show a Draft badge so you know what you're accepting.
- Invite reward lines. While an invite reward is on offer, the share sheet now tells you that you and your friend both earn it. A friend opening your battle link sees "you can both earn" too.
- Sharing is easier. After a battle, one SHARE or COPY button comes first. Invite links also hold up when the browser blocks storage, and a dead link now gives you a way into a battle.
😮 Emotes
- Open the emote menu with E, then press 1 to 5 to send your favourites (desktop).
- New community emote: Shocked Eel, in the daily shop and chests. Community emotes now show who made them.
⏱️ Turn clock and shop fixes
- Your turn clock now starts when you can move, so long Skull Cove chains no longer eat your turn.
- Double-tapping buy in the shop can no longer charge you twice, and buying a locked ship always gives you the ship.
🌍 Smaller fixes
- Steam: the game now starts in your Steam language the first time you play.
- Ship skin names read more naturally in Polish and Thai.
- Bigger tap targets on phones, and sign-up fits in landscape in every language.
- Fixed a rare case where the browser extension could start with an empty save instead of your progress.
