Ability

The long sub is a 1x4 ship that has the ability to attack a tile with sonar with a cooldown of 1 but is revealed after its ability has been used once.

Unlocking

Once the player has won 3 battles with the Rogue fleet, they unlock the Big & Tough fleet, alongside unlocking the Long Sub for custom fleet usage.

Strategies

Once you've used the Long sub, it reveals itself, so it is better to use it at the start of the battle whilst abilities are still on cooldown. It is recommended to sonar all 4 corners with the long sub as it is the best to deduce the locations of ships.

• Despite the name, long sub isn't actually the longest sub in the game, chaos sub is 5x1 whilst long sub is 4x1
