Ability

The Sea Monster has the ability to attack 4 random tiles, including hit or revealed tiles, with a cooldown of 2, as well as obscuring one tile on your own side. The ship is in the shape of a U shape in a 2x3 area.

Unlocking

The sea monster is automatically unlocked from the start of the game with infinite energy since it is a part of the Battle Attacker fleet.

Strategies

The Sea Monster works great as a scouter in the early stages of a battle, whilst doubling as an attacker as it clears out tiles quickly. However in the later stages of a battle it has a higher chance of hitting already hit tiles, making it more useless.

Skins

The sea monster currently has 3 skins in the game: Armored Sea Monster, Summer Nessie, and Pond Dragon. The Armored Sea Monster skin is unlocked through the Research tree, costing 100 research points and takes 1 day to unlock. The Summer Nessie skin can be bought from the daily Shop rotation. The Pond Dragon skin can be collected from the day 2 Daily Bonus.

• The Sea Monster is called 'Nessie' by some members of the BattleTabs Discord Server, referencing the Loch Ness Monster.
• The Sea Monster was the first BattleTabs ship to receive a skin.
