Valkyrie

Valkyrie was added after a community competition to design the valkyrie's ability.

Ability

The Valkyrie, by default, attacks 2 tiles with a 5 turn cooldown, However the Valkyrie attacks one more tile for each sunken ship on your side of the board. It has a 1x4 tile shape.

Unlocking

The Valkyrie can be unlocked by completing Research. It costs 200 reasearch points and takes 12 hours to unlock. It is also one of the lowest ships on the Research tree, so reaching it will take a while.

Strategies

The valkyrie gains all its power from losing your other ships, so having ships that may attack themselves (like Chaotic Machinist) greatly benefit the Valkyrie. However don't weaken your fleet too much otherwise you are giving your opponent an easy win. Since you want to get the valkyrie to the battle endgame, it is recommended to place valkyrie away from the centre of the board to avoid most attacks to increase chances of it being the last ship alive.
