Invite your friends to battle with a simple link!
Now there’s a new way to play BattleTabs with your friends, even if they don’t have the browser extension! Select Invite Anyone with Link after you click on New Battle and share your battle link with your friend. All they need to do is to click on that link to join your battle on battletabs.io - no install or signup required (and it works on mobile too)!
BattleTabs Tournament 1 !
Our first official BattleTabs Tournament is in progress! Since Wednesday, 19 players have been battling it out to be the first winners of our very first tournament!
New Fleet — Vikings!
We have a new fleet + a new ship! The Vikings! fleet is all about the attacks. With the Catamaran giving you a powerful 1x7 attack, Sailboat and Kayak giving you 1x3 and 1x2 attacks, and the brand new Raft giving you a 2x2 attack, the Vikings! is full of raw power!

Login with Discord and Google, 10 Types of BattleTabs Players
We’ve completely updated our login system so you can now login with your Google or Discord account. This also means you can now log in from other browsers such as Microsoft Edge, Opera, or Coc Coc! This opens up a lot of cool integrations we want to do in the future. I am particularly excited about more integrations with BattleTabs Discord server!
Updated Profile View and BattleTabs Live!
Many of you told us you want to change your avatar and your name in the game. So we added a new Profile View! You can open it by clicking on your profile button, and avatars in the battle view. You can add people as friend directly on their profile view.

The design for BattleTabs originated from Battleship, a fairly well known board game. One of the most interesting parts of the design process has been analysing the game to find how it ticks, and pushing it in a direction that suited our goals. I thought I’d take this opportunity to share how that process went down!
