I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer (or winter for those of you down south)! We are hard at work in bringing a whole new progression system and UI upgrade to the game. Nothing to show just yet, but here are some fantastic BattleTabs content for you to enjoy. 😃

When designing ships, there are two things we look for - “is this fun and interesting?”, and “is this balanced?”. Balance is an essential part of ship design, and I wanted to share some of our process!

There is a new set of Emotes for you to use - BattleTabs Emotes! This is our very first set of custom emotes. You can find them in the same emote wheel where current emotes are located. Love to know what you all think! 😀

You might have noticed a new look to player avatars! Now you can customise your look on BattleTabs. Click on the avatar picture on your profile page to get started.

We are continuously reviewing ship abilities and observing the meta. Some changes to ships this week:

A new unit has been released to 🛡 Battle Club! Magic Mirror is our first Building unit, and it’s got a sneaky ability. Use the Magic Mirror to copy the ability your opponent has last used! It’s the counter of all counters. You can even mirror a mirror attack (back to back to back Catamaran shots is super fun 😉 )

A new unit is coming to Battle Club! We have our very first unity with a passive ability. Crafty Crab’s ability is automatic — when it is alive, every normal attack will generate an additional random reveal attack. It also has the shape of your favourite Tetris piece. We can’t wait to see what new fleets you’d combo this mischievous unit with! 😀

After 6 weeks of intense battling from 70 players, we have our BattleTabs Tournament 2 Winners! 👏👏👏

We have added new functions to our Discord bot. Now you can directly invite another player to battle on Discord, and check out stats and match histories. Give it a try on our Discord server!

Many of you are sharing your fantastic custom fleets on Discord, and a lot of great ideas for new ships and units too! Join our Discord community to share and join in on the fun!

The most frequently requested feature is here! You can now design your own fleet. Want a fleet with only monsters? You can do that! Want a fleet with all the sonar units? You can do that too! The sky (the sea?) is the limit.

Our 2nd tournament is underway!
