Fleet Nicknames

Here are some nicknames for some of the recognizable fleets.

Common Fleets

Some of the most used fleets.

Default

Consists of: Sea Monster Raft Sailboat and Kayak. This fleet is called the default fleet since it is the fleet you start with.

Common Cycle 1.0

Consists of: Kayak Sea Monster Valkyrie and Blunderbuss. This fleet is perfect for people who loves using ships ability non stop.

Common Heavy Fleet 1.0

Consists of: Longboat Long Sub Catamaran and Valkyrie. This fleet is one of the most used fleet in terms of heavy fleet. This fleet uses Long Sub's maximum sonar use before it is destroyed.

Custom Fleets

OP FLEET

[First sighted to be mentioned by bobth] Consists of: Catamaran, Whale, Coracle and Longboat. This fleet makes fun of other fleets like it, because on the release of custom fleets, a ton of players made fleets with Coracle and Catamaran and gave it names like "OP FLEET" and "SUPER FLEET". Obviously, this fleet isn't actually that good, due to the fact that it has one, slow revealer. There are also other variants of OP FLEET, but this is the most popular/well known one there is. For your fleet to classify as a variant of OP FLEET, you need Coracle, cAtAmArAn, and 2 ships with a cooldown or 4 and above, and you can also include Electric Eels as one of the ships in this fleet.

Cotton

[First sighted to be used by Black Pearl] Consists of: Sea Monster, Valkyrie, Coracle and See Slug. This fleet is well-suited for deployment on small maps, showcasing remarkable flexibility

Norway

[First Sighted to be used by Jolly Rogers] Consists of: Crafty Crab, Valkyrie, Coracle and Blunderbuss. User Advisory: This fleet is best suited for experienced players due to the skill level required to unlock its full potential.

Str8 Shooter

[First sighted to be used by L33TB04T] Consists of: Chaos Sub, Galleon, Kayak and Longboat. Old version was Chaos Sub, Sailboat, Kayak and Galleon. This fleet was designed to be a very strong and versatile fleet, made after the Raft cooldown nerf, and was inspired by bpf's cycle fleet, which had Chaos Sub, Raft, Kayak and Galleon. Sailboat was swapped out for Longboat for extra firepower, but made this fleet even harder to use than before. A key theme and the notable weakness was the straightness of the ships.

Balanced Aggro (Named Godspeed/Valhalla by L33TB04T)

[First sighted to be used by bpf] Consists of: Chaotic Machinist, Chaos Slug, Raft and Valkyrie. This fleet was an interesting and really fun fleet made after the addition of Valkyrie and the cooldown buff of Raft. Unfortunately, this fleet became obsolete after the Raft cooldown nerf.

Long Sub ; CC Variation

Consists of: Long Sub, Conniving Cannoneer, Catamaran and Valkyrie. Optimal performance of this fleet is achieved in large maps with minimal stone obstacles.

Hit and Snipe

[First sighted to be used by Chicken] Consists of: Longboat, Coracle, Killer Squid and See Slug. Commonly adopted by newcomers exploring the game. A well-balanced fleet that demands a certain level of skill.

Coromaran

[First sighted being used by Phantom] Consists of: Coracle, Catamaran, Chaos Slug and Raft. This fleet popped up in November-December 2023. It is capable of beating top players and you can still win if you lose your Coracle early. Also, you can fake your catamaran using the Chaos Slug and Raft (Although make sure you reveal a few ships with your Chaos Slug before it dies)!
